Macerata Monthly is an English newsletter that profiles the culture of Le Marche’s Macerata province in central Italy through articles on local personalities and institutions, festivals and cultural events, and culinary, oenological, and horticultural traditions. Through the magazine you will see Macerata from a local perspective – from the inside out, if you will – rather than as outsiders. Culture, after all, is something that needs to be experienced rather than kept at arm’s length.

Macerata Monthly is free and it’s for anyone and everyone – those who study, conduct business, have second homes, or vacation here; those abroad who have a passion for Italy and who are interested in learning about its lesser-known areas; and of course all those – foreign and Italian – who live in Le Marche. Launched in December 2008, it is unique in the province (if not Le Marche) in terms of its content and frequency.

How to get Macerata Monthly

Current and past issues of the magazine can be read and downloaded from the Macerata Monthly Issues page, accessible from the Main Menu once you have signed in through the Login box on the left.

If you do not have a Username and Password, click on 'Create an account' in the Login box to register for free.* Once you've done so, you'll receive a confirming email which will ask you to activate your account.  From then on, you'll have direct access simply by logging in.
